MAY 2022 - Although govt policy states we no longer need to be following any covid restrictions, at Love Cats Croydon we are visiting you, in your homes, before you head off on holidays so the LAST thing we want to do is be the carrier of Covid into your home, or to you pre-holiday! Therefore we will continue to mask up if you want us to on any meet and greets. We are also still happy to chat in the garden, out the front, on the doorstep or whatever you are comfortable with, prior to your cat sittings.

We spent some time on health and safety courses back through 2020 and 2021, and aswell as IPC (Infection Prevention and Control) and Prevent Covid courses, we have also fully risk assessed Love Cats Croydon

We are back on public transport (always mask wearing still) with sanitiser literally on hand! So visits to any areas within 30mins travel from our base in SE25 is back on the cards - with any cats we can walk to in this glorious spring/summertime even better!

♡ As always we visit your home to cat sit when you are not there, so social distancing is already in place for any cat sitting

♡ Key collection before your cat sitting and return afterwards can now be fully contactless if required

♡ We have introduced virtual meet and greets (via WhatsApp video or Zoom) before all cat sittings if you’d prefer

♡ And of course while in your home with your cat, we will employ PPE - keeping your cat, your home (and ourselves) protected.

WE DO ASK OF YOU:

1) Please inform us prior to meet and greets / first cat sitting visits if you or anyone in your household tests positive for Covid. We will not attend face to face meet ups if so and can make alternative arrangements for contactless key collection etc

2) Please inform us if you do leave and have recently tested negative after contracting covid - for the first cats sits we can mask up and wear gloves inside your home to avoid any contamination

3) Please infomrm us if you test positive once you have left, or after meeting us at the initial cat sitting consulataion. We can then self-test and use precaution when visiting others

4) Please inform us if you test Covid positive while you are away and we are cat sitting for you. We can then post keys back contactless on your return, or wait until you are testing negative again to brong them back and catch up after the cat sittings have finished

UPDATE: We're ready when you are! Local cat sitting is now available again (as of June 1st). If you need to leave your homes and cats, we are here to take care of them.
